Chris and I met 6 years ago working in Pizzahut. We
were both studying at University and working there parttime. Through a mutual friend we had our first date.
Chris proposed to me on 20th March 2001. He took me
on a day trip to London and on the flight on the way home 20000 feet above Gretna Green, the Captain came over the tanoy and
said that Chris had a very important question to ask Kirsty. He produced the most beautiful ring and asked me to marry him.
I of course said yes. We still have the bottles of wine they gave us on that BA flight.
We both graduated in the June of that year.
We married on 15th June 2002 in Mure Memorial Church,
Garrowhill. We have now been married nearly 4 years. In that time life has been busy with work, family, travelling and training.
We rented a flat in Partick for 1 year and then bought our own house in Blantyre in 2003. Where we have settled.
In 2004 we added to our family with our puppy Cori.
He was born 12th December 2003 and we got him in February 2004. He is our best friend and sole companion and one of the friendliest
dogs you will ever meet.
Our hopes for 2006 are to add to our family again
and enjoy another happy year together.
